If anyone’s looking for a beak out of the city I recommend Maison du Pays de Bến Tre homestay. It’s a gorgeous little home in beautiful village. We spent two days there exploring the area on bicycle with the owners Thinh and Grandma. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Thinh thought of every little detail to make our stay comfortable. We had a cooking class with Grandma, ate amazing food and were treated like family. We are a mother and daughter (12yrs) travelling duo so safety is my top concern and Thinh made sure we were looked after from the moment of booking. 100 percent recommend if you’ re looking for a real cultural experience or just a relaxing break in the countryside.
